  • Starting from October 1, 2004, the category medics on practical courses do no longer exist. From 2004 on they are no longer included in the reference date figure (December, 31) of medical personnel. If these employees stay employed in the hospital, they must be recorded according to their activity. E.g. if their employment is continued as (assistant) practitioner and they have no further specialist qualification, they will be recorded as practitioners without or in their first specialist training.
  • For the years 1991 to 2001 there are no data available for "hospitals total" classified by supporting organizations.
